Against the Roar
I painted this work from a place of struggle and endurance. The sea is restless, the sky is explosive, and yet the ship keeps moving, which is exactly what I wanted to say about the human spirit. I was thinking about how life often tests us in overwhelming ways, but motion itself becomes courage. This painting carries my respect for resilience, especially when calm is nowhere in sight.
