I painted these trees with the feeling of protection. Their broad forms and warm light made me think of presence, stability, and the comfort of standing beneath something older and wiser than myself. I wanted the earth tones to feel grounded, almost devotional, as though the landscape were quietly blessing the viewer. This piece carries my love for nature as a place where the heart can feel safe again.
