Waiting at the Shore

I painted these boats with affection for humble, everyday beauty. There is something deeply human to me in the way they rest together, carrying color, history, and silence at the same time. I was thinking about companionship, about the comfort of shared stillness before movement begins again. This work comes from the emotion that simple scenes can sometimes hold the most honest poetry.
