Crimson Canopy
This painting came from a feeling of abundance so intense it nearly became overwhelming. I wanted the red leaves to feel alive, passionate, and full of heat, like emotion at its richest point. At the center I left a burst of yellow light, as if joy were breaking through the densest part of the soul. For me, this piece is about being surrounded by intensity and still finding radiance within it.
